Newbie!!!

So because all I do all day is surf the web and read other peoples blogs and wish it was me with the witty comments and sarcasticness (if thats even a word?$), I've finally decided to activate this blog and let you all indulge in the life that is mine. So I'll give you all a little background/overview of my life and then get to chatting!!
I am a 20 year old mother of 2 children. My son, lets call him Goober for his sake, is 2 and a half. He will be 3 in December and I've spent the last year dreading the fact that in September of next year he will start Junior Kindergarten. I think he is the smartest 2 year old on the planet and I've convinced myself that him and my daughter should take over the Children's Place add campaign.
My daughter is 6 months old and we're going to call her Princess, God knows that's what she is! I think she is the smartest 6 month old on the planet. Those two children light up my life and my world basically revolves around them and my addiction to TV and the internet! You'll find out more about that later!
My wonderful fiance, Rob, is the final piece that completes my everyday life. We've recently, like last weekend, moved out to Elmira. For those of you who don't know, Elmira is the size of a peanut and consists of a Tim Hortan's, McDonald's, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart (the old little kind), and that's it!! Horse and buggy's have their own parking garage at the grocery store and the smell of horse manure periodically leaks into my house! How Nice!
I am a blog virgin. So I don't really know what I'm doing or supposed to write about or if I'm 'allowed' to swear or what the etiquette is of blogging. Feel free to let me know! I figure since this is my first blog I will just spew out as much about myself as I can in hopes of getting some insightful comments and have something to write about tomorrow.
I am writing this blog in the commercial breaks of 'The Hills' because I am an avid fan of the hills and God forbid I miss the one night that 2 brand new episodes air back to back! My plans for the week on when I visit or go shopping all revolve around my reality show lineup. Tonight we visited Rob at work (he works night shift) on his 5 o'clock break, to be sure that we were home in time to make supper and have everyone off to bed in time for the hills to start. Now, not all plans can work out perfectly and today is no exception. We were at his work a 5pm so we had to miss the Y&R. That is not too much of a big deal because I can catch the one and only re-run tomorrow at noon or like any good soap opera I could tune in again next week and know exactly whats going on. Tomorrow is a sit-at-home-all-night night and big Brother 10 will be on! Right after Big Bro, 90210 will make its second week on air. As much as I looked forward to the season premier of it last week, I was disappointed, as I think many people were. I discovered the problem is that everyone wants it to be 1990 90210 and its just simply not. No one has pale skin anymore and goes to school in flats or running shoes. Its all dressed up and glamorized, but so is 2008. I have to keep that in mind when watching tomorrow. It is 2008 and as much as I wish it was 1993 and everyone at west Beverly high was wearing a neon scrunchy...they wont be. Boo!
On Wednesday we are having a 'play-date' (PS I hate that word.) but thankfully, kids play and we, the mothers, still get to watch Americas Next Top Model. That's another one that I was disappointed with the premier. They are trying to make it into a 'show' with plots and scripts and excitement...its a REALITY show...gimmie the pretty girls taking pictures and that's it. It was very cheesy in my opinion. Thursday we will shop in the morning with my sons favorite 'older' person, my grandma (his great grandma) Barb. She is hilarious and such a trooper. She is currently going through treatment for breast cancer and is such a survivor. And she still wants to take me and my 2 kids shopping!! Love her!!
Back to my obsession with television, after shopping Thurs morning we will defiantly be glued to the TV for the eviction on Big Brother and then the season premier of Greys Anatomy!! OMG, I can't wait for Greys to be back! How I've missed that show. I have not always been a fan of McDreamy and the rest of the sexy crew but last year about mid season my co-worker forced me to watch and I've been hooked ever since! Friday is kind of an off night. Usually that consists of movies and popcorn on the living room floor with blankets and pillows and dad comes home to us all sleeping on the floor! Lucky him, he get to carry us all to bed after hes worked a full night and we've laid on the floor and watched movies!! Muahahahah!
I think I'll leave it at that for tonight. Maybe with some encouragement from you, my potential fans, I will know a little better tomorrow what I am doing. And if not I will just fill this page with my obsession with the computer!! I swear I should be on that show Intervention just not for booze or pain killers, just modern technology!!
